Automatic Setup (Recommended – Uses AutoDiscover)

Open Control Panel

Go to Control Panel > Mail.

Create a New Profile

Click Show Profiles…

Click Add… and name your profile (e.g., "Work Email").

Enter Account Information

Enter your name, full email address, and password.

Click Next.

Complete Connection

If prompted by a security pop-up, select Allow.

You’ll see a Congratulations message if successful.

Click Finish.

Set Default Profile

In the Mail window, select the new profile as default.

Click Apply and OK.

Open Outlook

Sign in with your email address and password.

Select "Remember my password" (optional).

Outlook will connect and sync your email, calendar, contacts, etc.

Manual Setup (If AutoDiscover Does Not Work)

Start Manual Setup in Control Panel

Go to Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles… > Add…

Name your new profile and click OK.

Enter Exchange Server Settings Manually

Select Manual setup or additional server types > Click Next.

Choose Microsoft Exchange Server or compatible service > Click Next.

In the Server field, enter your provided Exchange server address.

In the User Name field, enter your full email address.

Check Use Cached Exchange Mode.

Click More Settings.

Configure Connection

Go to Connection tab.

Check Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP.

Click Exchange Proxy Settings.

Enter Proxy Information

For US customers: enter
us.exg7.exghost.com -
For customers outside the US: enter
ch.exg7.exghost.com -
Check "Only connect to proxy servers that have..." and enter
msstd:exg7.exghost.com. -
Ensure both "On fast networks..." and "On slow networks..." are checked.

Set Proxy Authentication to Basic.

Check Name and Finish

Back in the account window, click Check Name and enter your password if prompted.

If successful, Server and User Name will be underlined.

Click Next and Finish.

Exchange service status icon to expand the list. -
Select the View Advanced Settings icon.

Outlook for Mac Configuration With an Exchange Account
Outlook for Mac configuration with Exchange is fairly easy to setup with the AutoDiscover service. You will only need the primary email address, username, and password to set up this configuration.

Launch the Outlook client. From here, select Tools and Accounts.

Select Exchange Account.

Enter the full e-mail address, user name, and password in the appropriate text boxes. Ensure that you have the Configure automatically check box selected. When you are done, click Add Account.

You will be redirected to a pop-up window. Select Don’t ask me about this website again and click the Allow button, respectively.

Now, you may restart Outlook.
