KartHost Guide: Update Email Password on iPhone
If you have recently changed your email password, you will need to update it on your iPhone to continue sending and receiving email.
Before You Begin (Important)
- Always use your full email address as the username
- Passwords are case-sensitive
- Do not rely on auto-filled settings — verify all entries
Tips (Read First)
- Verify your password first: Log in at webmail.emailsrvr.com to confirm your password is correct before making any changes
- Restart your iPhone before updating
- Turn off WiFi and use cellular data during setup (recommended)
- If this account was previously set up and not working, deleting and re-adding should be the LAST Resort (Method 3)
- After changing your password, wait a few minutes before retrying
Email Service Type
KartHost email services use different server types depending on your plan:
- KloudEmail BASIC and SUITE (Desktop) use IMAP
- KloudEmail SUITE (Mobile Devices Only) uses Microsoft Exchange
Method 1: Update Password (Recommended)
- Open Settings
- Tap Mail
- Tap Accounts
- Select your email account
- Tap Account
- Tap the Password field
- Enter your new password
- Tap Done
Your iPhone will attempt to verify automatically.
Method 2: Trigger Password Prompt
If you do not see a password field or it does not update:
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts
- Select your account
- Tap Account
- Toggle Mail OFF, then back ON
Your iPhone should prompt you to re-enter the password.
Method 3: Delete & Re-Add Account (Last Resort)
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts
- Select your account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
Re-add your account:
- Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account
- Select:
- IMAP (Other) for BASIC or SUITE desktop
- Microsoft Exchange for SUITE mobile
- Enter your email and password

IMAP (BASIC / SUITE Desktop)
Server: secure.emailsrvr.com
Port: 993 (incoming), 465 or 587 (outgoing)
Exchange (SUITE Mobile)
Server: mobilesync.emailsrvr.com
