Managing Your Domain in KartHost Customer Center

Quick Steps to Manage Your Domain
- Navigate:
Go to Domains > My Domains in the navigation bar. - Find Your Domain:
Use the domain list or the Search Filter (top right corner). - Open Management:
Click the three dots (- - - ) next to your domain and select Manage Domain.

After opening the management page for your selected domain, you will see the following menu items on the left:

Detailed Tab & Menu Definitions
Overview
Shows your domain’s status, original registration date, due dates, payment method, recurring fee, and related details.
Auto Renew
- Enabled: An invoice will be emailed 30 days before expiration.
- If paying by card: Domain renews automatically 5 days before expiration.
- To disable: Set the toggle to OFF before the invoice is overdue to remove it.
- If the renewal invoice is overdue, open a support ticket to cancel.
Nameservers
Directs your domain’s web and email traffic.
- Only change nameservers if: You know what you’re doing or have been instructed by support.
Registrar Lock
Prevents unauthorized transfers.
- To transfer your domain: Registrar Lock must be OFF.
Addons
Access any additional features or protections available for your domain.
Contact Information
This section manages your domain’s public WhoIs record, which acts as the “title” to your domain—ensure all details are accurate.
- Registrant:
The legal owner. Changes here require email verification.- For eNom: Info is hidden by default ("REDACTED FOR PRIVACY"). Use Whois Publicity or ID Protect for visibility/privacy.
- For ResellersClub (PDR): Public unless privacy is purchased.
- Administrator: Not the legal owner, but can manage the domain and receives system emails.
- Technical: Handles technical settings (often same as Admin).
- Billing: Pays fees/renewals (may not be visible; support ticket may be required for updates).
Private Nameservers
Register your own custom nameservers (requires IP address).
DNS Management
Control your domain’s DNS settings (available if enabled at purchase).
Email Forwarding
Forward emails sent to your domain to another email address (feature availability depends on when domain was registered).
Get EPP Code
Retrieve your EPP/transfer code.
- If you see “The EPP Code for your domain is: secret,” open a support ticket.
Actions Menu
- Renew Domain: Renew your domain’s registration.
- Register a New Domain: Start the process to register a new domain name.
- Transfer in a Domain: Transfer a domain from another provider to KartHost.
ICANN Organization Field Update (Effective August 21, 2025):
- The value you enter in the Organization field now determines your domain's legal owner.
- If the Organization field is filled: the Organization is considered the legal owner.
- If the Organization field is blank: the Registrant Name is the legal owner.
- Changing the Organization triggers an official ownership change and requires email verification by both the old and new contacts.
- These rules apply to all generic top-level domains (gTLDs).
Tips:
- Double-check all contact and ownership info for legal accuracy.
