At KartHost, when you are set up for the automatic renewal of Domain Names (and you have a valid card on file as the Default card), our automation will automatically charge your card on the due day which is 5 days before your expiration. This keeps from having the possibility of your domain name from expiring before renewing, as our automation automatically pays invoices at approximately 3 am every morning.
Update: 3/16/2026, we are no longer able to edit the next due date and instead set all due dates to 5 days before the domain name's expiration date.
