New SMS (Text) Alert Service Available to our Clients from the KartHost Customer Center

Today KartHost is pleased to announce the KartHost Customer Center is now capable of sending out Automated SMS (Text) Alerts. (SMS Stands for Short Message Service, better known as a ‘Text’). 

These SMS Alerts will notify you when a change to your account, product, or service needs your attention or that you should be aware of.

For instance, one Alert SMS would be sent out when your Domain Name has expired. To allow you to take quick action.

It’s important to know if you do receive an SMS alert, these are ONE WAY SMS messages, in other words, if you reply, no human will ever see your reply text.

We are offering TWO Types of SMS Messages [1] Operational Alerts and [2] Marketing Alerts that will at most be sent out once or twice a month to alert of new services we offer. You can opt-in or out of both, your choice. Marketing Alerts is to bring to your Attention changes to our offers and/or services you currently have with KartHost.

To get the service started you will need to provide us with your preferred phone number (even if you provided a phone number that can receive SMS (Text) messages in the past).
