Redemption Grace Period

Once a domain name expires will be placed into Renewal Grace period and you can pay the invoice to renew the domain while its in Renewal Grace period (see this article to see what the grace period is for your .tld "My Domain Expired Can I Get it Back - Domain Renewal Grace Period").

If your domain name has slipped out of Renewal Grace Period to Renewal Redemption Period, you can, in most cases get your domain name back, but it is a very costly process and can take several days to do so. You will not be able to pay the normal domain name renewal outstanding invoice to get your domain name back, you MUST contact KartHost Domain Name Support, we will have to ask to have your domain name moved back to us and placed in your account at KartHost. Since this is normally a manual process it does take time to complete.

If your domain name is NOT redeemed during the the Renewal Redemption period then it will move to the Pending Delete period for 5 days. In Pending Delete status, your domain name can not be Redeemed and after the Pending Delete period, the domain name would be available for fresh Registration.
